Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Thank you for using Forged. This Privacy Policy describes how Yellow Bike Studio ("we," "our," "us") handles information in connection with the Forged mobile application ("App"). We designed Forged with a straightforward privacy principle: your data belongs to you, lives with you, and never passes through our hands.
Please read this policy carefully. Because our data practices are minimal by design, this document is intentionally brief.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 What Stays on Your Device
Everything you create or configure in Forged — your content, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device except through the cloud sync you choose to enable (see Section 3).
2.2 What We Do Not Collect
Forged does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any identifying information
- Your location
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Any content you create within the App
- Crash logs or diagnostics that identify you
- Cookies or tracking data of any kind
2.3 No Account Required
Forged requires no account, no login, and no personal information to use. We never ask who you are.
3. Cloud Storage (iCloud & Android Backup)
If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data is saved to your personal cloud storage account — Apple iCloud on iOS/macOS, or Google's backup service on Android. This is your storage account, governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
- Your cloud data is encrypted at rest and in transit by Apple and Google.
- We — the Yellow Bike Studio team — have zero access to your cloud data.
- You can disable cloud sync at any time through your device's settings.
- Deleting the App removes all local data from your device. Disable cloud backup before deletion if you also want to remove cloud copies.
4. Third-Party Services
Forged contains no advertising SDKs, data brokers, or social media trackers. The only third parties involved in your experience are:
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for App distribution
- Apple iCloud / Google Backup — only if you enable cloud sync
- Operational tools — we use third-party tools for crash diagnostics and aggregated, anonymous usage analytics to help us maintain and improve the App. Any data collected is strictly operational (e.g., crash frequency, performance metrics) and does not include personally identifiable information (PII). It cannot be used to identify you.
All third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
5. Data Security
The most secure server is one that doesn't exist. Because Forged never transmits your personal data to our infrastructure, there is no Yellow Bike Studio server to breach, no database to leak, and no credentials of yours to steal.
When cloud sync is enabled, your data benefits from Apple's and Google's enterprise-grade encryption and security infrastructure.
6. Children's Privacy
Because Forged collects no personal information from anyone, it presents no data-privacy risk to users of any age, including children under 13.
7. Your Rights
Because your data is stored on your device and in your personal cloud account, you have full control:
- Access: View all your data directly in the App or your device storage.
- Deletion: Delete any or all data within the App, or by uninstalling it.
- Portability: Your data is on your device — you own and control it entirely.
- Correction: Edit any data you've created directly in the App.
There is no server-side process for these requests because we hold nothing on our end.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above and notify you via an App update notice. Our core commitment — not collecting your data — is a design decision, not just a policy statement. Any updates are very unlikely to expand our data practices.
